Marriage-Based Green Card Approved in Six Months, Client Granted New Status

Today, we received some approval notices again. What I mainly want to share with you is a family-based I-130 petition (marriage green card).

The difficulty of this case is that both petitioner and beneficiary had just graduated from school, and the petitioner’s most recent three years' tax return records did not meet the sponsorship requirements, so it was necessary to add a joint sponsor. The petitioner and the beneficiary actively contacted people around them and selected several potential joint sponsors whom they believed met the requirements, and sent the relevant materials to our firm for review. Finally, we selected one joint sponsor who best met the requirements and actively contacted the joint sponsor, explaining all the joint sponsor’s responsibilities and obligations over the phone.

In the end, the entire case took more than two weeks to prepare all the materials, and we submitted the petition package to the immigration office. Finally, the case took about 6 months to get approved successfully. Here, we congratulate the clients on successfully obtaining the green card.
